As an ongoing process we have been editing the footage we already had,
with panning/cropping, black and white and cutting in synchrony with the
music - even using a lens flare as the sun flashes across screen to act
as a natural transition into the next shot.
This time we focused on the narrative element of our video, shooting in
three different locations in Halifax to go alongside our previously
filmed performance footage. We also intend to use one more location for
our narrative to strengthen the story for the audience, however we are
conscious of how much we are trying to squeeze into a 3min video for the
track. The multiple locations are a very conventional of music videos,
and the variety of shots, as well as the amount of footage we have, will
allow us to keep the pace quick throughout and not have long drawn out
boring shots.
